Lineamare is a new company for exclusive lifestyle, founded in 2017 by Johannes Volckmann. We design unique lanterns, have the parts handmade by small local German businesses, and then assemble everything in our studio – with passion, all by hand, into the finished product.
We focus on noble and customizable lanterns - either in a maritime design as a hommage to yachts and the sea, or in a clean and minimalist scandinavian design. Our unique and handcrafted lanterns make a clear statement everywhere – on yachts as well as in luxury hotels, restaurants, villas, mansions or estates.

Progress also means responsibility and mindfulness with our world and us humans. In an age of increasing digital and anonymous production, automated processes and environmentally harmful transport routes around our world - it is time to reflect on and return to local and traditional handcrafting. Therefore, we stay committed to creating local hand-built and hand-finished products.
